House of 1000 Corpses. Thank you Rob Zombie.

House of One-Thousand Corpses.

I don't care what you've heard.
I don't care if every one of your friends hated it.
This movie was for me.

It was beautiful in a wonderful, horrible, delicious, maniac way.

If you expected anything other than what is served up for you in this visual and auditory buffet of gore and misanthropic murder than you weren't aware of the kind of genius that Rob Zombie possesses. It is a diseased and putrecent genius seldom seen on the silver screen. It is at once engaging and repulsing, one would think that this would bring equalization but nay! Instead of banal status quo it causes a frantic vibration of enjoyment potential. Fluctuating forward and back, left and right like a shaky conveyor belt at a charnel house.

To say I enjoyed this movie is to cheapen it. That would be improper and wrong. So many moments of pure unadulterated glee. So many teeth chomping limb tearing suprises and corners where dead things huddle. Truly this is a masterwork of American Cinema.

You are all going to hate it.
