[info]datan0de Made some entry about The Sarah Conner's Chronicles. I didn't read the entry, the sight of the entry title just made me start to seeth so I posted this comment. And now I post it here as well for your amusement.

I am so not watching that show. In fact, I'm not even reading this entry as you are talking about that show which I refuse to watch. If they were going to make a goddamn Terminator TV show it should be fucking set in the future so we can see all the cool stuff they spent 3 movies teasing us about. It's like Aliens Vs. Predator, WHY THE FUCK ARE HUMANS IN THOSE MOVIES. I don't care about humans, make the entire movie take place on another planet, have 0 dialogue except Predator prime tounge and hisses. You can subtitle it if you want just fucking stop throwing lame ass chicks in there for me to "identify" with. I will identify with the most badass alien you put in the movie PERIOD. Argh. ARGH DAMN SHIT FUCK. Actually you know what, this comment is too good to just leave here, I'm gonna cross post this as an entry.

And that is that. Also I am not wearing pants and it is well past my bed time. This may be why I thought making that comment and then making this a post was a good idea.

I am *also* up way past my bed time and not wearing pants, so in the spirit of solidarity with my pantless brothers I have a bit of good news for you.

The next Terminator move (with Christian Bale playing John Connor) is set after Terminator 3, and therefore after Judgment Day. I personally think that T3, while enjoyable, is by far the weakest of the Terminator movies and I'm glad that The Sarah Connor Chronicles disregards it completely. However, T3 did do a magnificent job of setting up a future war movie or three.

Did I say three? Yeah, that's the rumor. Supposedly they're considering doing a trilogy. It's just rumor, but it's a possibility.

Happy now? ;-)

after watching the first episode, i felt very awkward about how the series would work with the movies. pretty much the show says "to hell with the 3rd movie, we'll explain it away with time travel and parallel future universes mumbo jumbo..." i think the only way they can save themselves is if somehow john dies, and sarah goes back in time to prevent them from going through this whole timeline, and instead she dies of cancer and has her coffin stuffed full of ammo and guns so that john can live through judgement day.

the show is pretty awful, but i still enjoy seeing things blow up. and honestly i like dry, terminator humor.
